Over the years there have been many chances for me to step out of my traditional networking role and embrace other responsibilites to help the business or a particular project succeed.

Team lead and Project management experience

I've picked up some project management responsibilites when the need arose and successfully drove these projects to conclusion.

Telephony and Voice experience

Voice over IP has always been closely connected to Networking but I wanted to call out the great collaboration between the two fields in particular for a multitude of different Telephony systems.

• Genesys
• MS Teams
• Avaya and Nortel

Data Centre Management

With my natural interest in construction and architecture I've also had a few years of being a point of contact for two of our OnPrem DataCentres (each with about 20 - 30 Cabs of equipment). My responsibilites included:

• Management and deployment of structured cabling
• Assignement of Rack location
• Capacity planning
• Airflow management
• Environmental monitoring
